My personal 12 months counted down on 10th of February. 🌿 This was an amazing year full of work and inspiration, founding our home and making it prettier, painting walls and making furniture by ourselves. 💪🏼 It was a year of adventures in all spheres:) I want to thank everyone who shared my way this past year. You are amazing!😘 And here is a third part of my finished preliminary drawings made in these past 12 months. I wish that next 365 days will be more productive!💪🏼 (at Moscow, Russia)
My print wizard friend and photographer in his “mage tower” . This is how my fine-art prints are printed for the etsy shop at www.asyamitskevich.etsy.com. Check it!
The period from January 20th -February 19th in Native American astrology is the month of purification and the sweet, fun-loving Otter!😃
✨
Otter represents the inner child in all of us. This animal birth totem celebrates personal freedom, embraces life with passion. “Otter” people are creative, unconventional, friendly, curious, independent, considered to be rebellious and often times eccentric and tactless. Enthusiastic in their desire to gain knowledge they are in continual search of information, ideas and concepts.
• Element: Air.
• Clan of the Butterfly.
• Color: Silver gray.
• Stone/Mineral: turquoise or silver. • Plant: fern. ✨
This year I decided to work on the Native American zodiac signs. So, in the end of each month I will show you new animal birth totem. The Native American tribes share a spiritual connection with nature. Animal totem was assigned to those born within a given time period. It is believed that these people share the traits of the animal symbol they are born under.

Little announcement: these kissing little owls and other owl drawings from #50ShadesofOwls project are available at my shop @society6 only this week at https://society6.com/asyamitskevich. Than they will be replaced with other artworks. So this is the last chance to get anything with these prints (art prints, pillows, t-shirts, mugs etc).
If you thought puffin was the cuttest bird ever, here is the most cute bird among the 11 I drew for the current project - oriental dwarf kingfisher.
Stay tuned to see more birds from the bird nerd (me🤓)
P.S. There are some original drawing still available in my #etsy shop at www.asyamitskevich.etsy.com (at Moscow, Russia)
First bird I can share with you is Atlantic Puffin. My client loves birds and one of her favourite countries is Iceland that is why there will be 3 puffins 😍 on the final mural. All other birds I illustrated for this project inhabit client’s favourite destinations: Iceland, Kenya and China.
Will you place this bird illustration on your walls?
P.S. By the way: “Pairs of puffins often become mates for life, finding each other at their breeding colony year after year”.
